Void Gunner VR (“the Game”, “we”, “us”) is a single-player virtual-reality wave shooter for Meta Quest, published by NVR Labs. This policy explains what data the Game accesses, why, how it is handled, and the choices and rights you have. We collect the minimum data needed to run the Game’s features.

1. Data we access and why

The Game does not run its own servers and does not operate its own analytics, advertising, or tracking. To provide certain features, the Game accesses the following data through Meta’s Platform APIs (the Meta Quest Platform SDK). This data is provided and processed by Meta on your Quest account:

DataWhy we access itFeature
Meta User ID (account identifier) To identify and attribute your entry on the Game’s global leaderboard, and to verify which items/entitlements your account owns, so scores and purchases map to the correct account. Leaderboards, In-app purchases
Horizon profile (username and profile photo) To display your name (and avatar image where shown) next to your score on the global leaderboard so other players can see who set each score. Leaderboards
In-app purchase & entitlement data To process optional coin-pack purchases and verify ownership so we can grant the in-game currency and content you bought. In-app purchases / downloadable content
Subscription status (active state & expiry) To check whether your optional “Gunner Pro Pass” membership is active and when it expires, so we can grant the monthly in-game coin stipend on your device. Subscriptions

The Game does not access your files, photos, microphone, camera, contacts, precise location, friends list, or messages.

2. Data stored only on your device

Your scores, coin balance, upgrades, comfort settings, subscription-benefit records and gameplay progress are stored only on your device (Android SharedPreferences) and are never transmitted to us. Uninstalling the Game, or Settings → Apps → Void Gunner VR → Clear data, removes this local data.

3. How your data is used and shared

We use the data above only to provide the features described in Section 1. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, build profiles, or share it with third-party advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or any other company. The only party that processes Meta User Data in connection with the Game is Meta, and only for the first-party platform services you already use on your Quest (leaderboards, in-app purchases, and the optional subscription); that processing is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. We have no data processors or service providers other than Meta’s platform.

4. Payments & subscription

In-app purchases and the optional auto-renewing “Gunner Pro Pass” ($19.99/month with a 7-day free trial) are handled entirely by Meta’s commerce platform. Billing, renewal, cancellation and the trial are managed by Meta; we never see or store your payment card, billing address, or other payment details. You can cancel anytime from your Meta account and access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Data retention and deletion

We do not retain Meta User Data on any server of our own — we read it live from Meta’s Platform APIs only when a feature needs it. You can:

6. Children

The Game is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the applicable minimum age in your region) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. Permissions

The Game requests only what VR gameplay needs: head/controller tracking, vibration (haptics), audio output, and network access (used solely by Meta’s platform services above).

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change and material changes will be noted in the store listing.
